Meet Jason Maure: The Outdoorsman
Hello I am Jason Maure (Pronounced More) thus the name of this Blog. I live in South Western Ontario Canada, approximately 45 minutes East of Detroit Michigan on the South shore of Lake St. Clair the `small mouth bass capital of the world`.

I share a country home with my wife and three teenage children whom i intend to tell you outdoor adventures about. Lillian is our oldest, blessing us by arriving on the opening day of the Ontario early goose season. Remington and Zachary soon followed after. We have and breed Chocolate Labs for waterfowl hunting, which is one of my biggest outdoor passions.

Growing up my family was always camping and fishing. I started shooting archery when i was about seven and quickly fell in love with the sport. I joined my local archery club where i started competing on a regional level which led to the nation level. I won my first Canadian Indoor Archery Championships in 1993, which opened opportunities for me to become a staff shooter for Mountaineer Archery and a local pro shop.

As many of you know life can get busy between work, kids dance classes, soccer, baseball and football, i am also a volunteer firefighter so sometimes finding time to spend in the outdoors can be tough. My goal for this web site is to share with you products, tips and techniques to help you maximize your time in the outdoors, which is always at a premium.

I have developed many skills from working on charter boats, to being a waterfowl guide to taxidermy. I have bought and used many products in the outdoors and i am looking forward to helping you sort out what, where, when, how and how much money you should spend!

Most importantly WE want YOU spending Quality time in the outdoors doing what you like with the ones you love.
